Best time to visit Badrinath :–

Badrinath temple normal opens in May month every year and closes by November. Pilgrims can visit Badrinath any time between May to November.

Badrinath temple remains closed in Winter due to heavy snow from December to April.

Itinerary

DAY 1: HARIDWAR / RISHIKESH / DEHRADUN TO JOSHIMATH (240 KM DRIVE)

Start your Badrinath Yatra early morning.

Pick up and proceed to Joshimath.
Visit Dev Prayag, Rudraprayag, Nand Prayag, Karna Prayag, Narsingh Temple Joshimath.
Stay in hotel in Joshimath.

Overnight stay in Joshimath.

DAY 2: JOSHIMATH TO BADRINATH (48 KM)

After morning breakfast, proceed to Badrinath.

Visit Vishnu Prayag, Yog Dhyan Badri, and Hanuman Chatti.
Once reached Badrinath, take a dip in Tapt Kund and do darshan of Badrinath Ji.
After taking blessings of Lord Badrinath, visit Laxmi Temple and Hanuman Temple.
Can perform Pinddan Pooja at Brahma Kapal.
Later in the evening, proceed to Mana Village for Bhim Pul, Saraswati River, Vyas Gufa, and Ganesh Gufa.

Overnight stay in Badrinath.

DAY 3: BADRINATH TO HARIDWAR / RISHIKESH / DEHRADUN

After early morning breakfast, proceed to Haridwar / Rishikesh / Dehradun.

On the way, visit Dhari Devi Temple.
Drop off for onward journey with blessings of Lord Badrinath.
