Guptar ghat

The holy ghat on the bank of the Saryu River is believed to be the location where Jal Samadhi was taken by Lord Rama. It comprises a series of fine, well-maintained Ghats designed in the first half of the 19th century by Raja Darshan Singh. The Sita-Ram Temple, the Chakrahari, Guptahari shrines and Narasingh Temple are on the top of the Ghats.
