Jain shwetamber temple

Ayodhya is the location where 18 ‘Kalyanak’ of various ‘tirthankars’ took place. Adinath, Ajitnath, Abhinandannath, Sumatinath, Ananthnath are among the five Thirthankars who were born and preached their religious values here. The five Jain shrines were built by Kesari Singh, the treasurer of Nawab of Faizabad, to mark the birthplace of these Thirthankers. This temple of the Digamber Jain sect is dedicated to the first Tirthanker Rishabhdev, also known as Adinath, Purdev, Vrishabhdev and Adi Brahma. In the town of Ayodhya, this magnificent, majestic new temple is located in Raiganj. This magnificent new temple is popularly known as Badi Murti. A 31-foot high marble statue of Rishabhdev has been installed here. Recently, this place was built with the blessings of Acharya Ratna Deshbhushanji Maharaj and Aryika Gyanmati Mataji.
