If you’re planning to visit Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri, Yamunotri temples, or Hemkund Sahib in Uttarakhand, registration for the Char Dham circuit is mandatory.
The biometric registration process is simple and accessible, with both offline and online options available. The government has streamlined the process for travelers, ensuring a hassle-free experience. Char Dham Yatra Registration for 2025 is Now Open!
Starting March 20, online and offline registration for the Char Dham circuit will be available. Pilgrims can also register via the state tourism department’s mobile app. A token system may be implemented for general darshans, while online registration will be required for special prayers like Rudrabhishek.
Update: Offline registration will begin soon.
Important: There is no fee for Char Dham registration.

Step-by-Step Guide for Online Char Dham Yatra Registration

Step 1: Visit the official Char Dham registration website.
Step 2: Review the Char Dham details and registration process.
Step 3: Click on “Login/Register.” Choose your registration type:

Step 7: Click “Create/Manage Tour Info” to plan your trip.
Step 8: Select “Add New Tour.”

Step 14: Click “Save & Next” for additional travelers or “Finish” to complete registration.
Step 15: Download the Shrine Registration Letter (contains a unique QR code). An SMS with your unique ID will also be sent.
Step 16: Keep the registration letter or SMS handy during your trip.
Step 17: Before entry, a Yatrimitra will verify your registration via SMS or QR code.
Step 18: After verification, you’ll receive a Yatri Certificate in your account.
Step 19: For a safe journey, register via registrationandtouristcare.uk.gov.in or download the Tourist Care Uttarakhand app.
