Raghunath temple

Raghunath Ji is Kullu’s main deity and the Raghunath Temple is one of Kullu’s best places to visit. Raghunath is another Lord Rama name and this temple is dedicated to him. This is among the oldest temples in Himachal Pradesh. The high-rise temple is on a hillock and offers a spectacular view of the valley for tourists. The temple was founded in the 17th Century by Raja Jagat Singh. This temple was built by Raja Jagat Singh as an apology for all the sins he committed during his life. The idole came from Ayodhya and was built here. The temple is one of its kind, and is a magnificent piece of ancient architecture.
