Jhula devi temple

Jhula Devi temple is a Maa Durga temple. Jhula devi temple is located near Chaubatia, 7 kilometers from Ranikhet town. According to local mythology goddess Durga came into dream of local shephard and ask him to build her idol to protect villager from animal like tiger, leopard and other dangerous animal who use to attact local in dense forest there. Since then devotees use to come to make a wish to temple Jhulla Devi. On fulfillment of their wish pilgrim come back with bell and offer it to maa jhoola devi. At this spiritual and calm place devotee offer coconut and prasad to maa Durga.Near this temple there is one lord Rama temple also. Must visit place for spiritual guest.
