Baijnath temple is an architectural site of the 13th century, situated in the town of Baijnath in the Himachal Pradesh district of Kangra. This ancient temple is constructed in temple architecture Nagara style. The temple of Baijnath is a majestic temple with a shikhara (temple tower), a vestibule, a mandapa (main hall), and a sanctum. There is also a Nandi statue at the temple entrance that faces in the inner sanctum towards Lord Shiva. The temple’s interior and exterior walls are full of Hindu god and goddess sculptures. This shrine’s overall architecture is stunning, and is a must visit.
