Umaid bhavan palace

Umaid Bhavan Palace

Built in Jodhpur in 1943, Umaid Bhavan Palace is a beautiful fusion of a fascinating history and a glamorous present. At the same time it is-a heritage hotel, a museum and the Royal Family residence of the current owner, Raja Gaj Singh. In addition to being of a historic landmark, the palace was constructed in 1929, designed to provide jobs for the area’s drought-stricken farmers and therefore took longer to construct. Umaid Bhavan Palace offers amazing interactions from heritage walks to unforgettable dining experiences. The award-winning hotel is known for its hospitality and a feeling of luxury living.

One of Jodhpur’s best places to visit, this palace holds a popular spot among places to see at Jodhpur. Within a part of this beautiful building there is also a museum. Don’t miss seeing its galleries containing different royal pieces, a gallery devoted to showcasing a variety of items. A gallery, for example, shows a host of royal clocks and one of those displays royal antique vehicles. Make sure you visit every nook and corner of this palace to see the grandeur spread.
