Tawang valley

Tawang Valley is filled both by tradition and by nature. It is situated at an altitude of 3500 meters above sea level, at a distance of 183 Kms from Bomdila. The natural beauty and loneliness of the ranges of Gudpi and Chong-Chugmi, Tawang chu River and Tawang Valley are very hypnotic. In and around Tawang, there are many beautiful grlacial lakes with crystal-blue waters such as Sela lake, P.T.Tso lake, Sangetser lake, Banggachang lake and many more. These remain frozen in winter and become haven for migratory birds in summer.
