Tashi View Point Gangtok
Tashi view point of Gangtok, got it name because it was built by the Tashi Namgyal who was the king of Sikkim between 1914 and 1963. It is situated 8 km far away from central Gangtok; Tashi View point is most scenic beauty from where travellers can get a view of the magnificent Mount Sinilochu and Mount Kanchenjunga. It is one of best place to visit during Gangtok tour for its scenic beauty. Also it is most vidited and popular place in Gantok.
There is no visiting charge. Anyway you can pay Rs. 10/ – to draw nearer perspective on the tops through a binocular and telescope mounted here. There is a resting shed here just as a shop offering tea, espresso, snacks just as blessing and gift things. Costs are sensible.
