Sarangkot

Set on the picturesque Sarangkot Range, Sarangkot is a village renowned for its sunrise and sunset view of Annapurna and the paragliding take-off point. The village is situated at an elevation of 1600 meters above sea level and is a great place to enjoy a mesmeric view of the Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu Mountain Ranges and Pokhara Valley. A famous viewpoint is the location of an ancient fort linked by a few steps from the main village. A trek along the ridge road leading west from Sarangkot is highly recommended for tourists to get more breathtaking views. The thick forest is home to a number of fauna and flora. The road, therefore, is also popular for observing birds and rejuvenating nature walks.
