Ram ki paidi

Set on the banks of the Saryu River, this series of Ghats serves as a forum. Ram Ki Paidi is the attractive bathing ghat designed to have a sacred bath in holy Sarayu waters for the convenience of a multitude of Ram devotees. Ram ki Paidi was founded near Nayaghat on the banks of the Sarayu River in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, in 1984. It has lush green gardens surrounded by temples as well. Particularly during floodlit nights, the riverfront provides an outstanding panorama. These serve as forums for devotees who come to wash away their sins by taking a dip in the holy river, it is believed.

One of the grand events of Ayodhya Deepotsav has been performed on the Har-Ki-Paidi only on the occasion of Diwali every year.
