Nuranang Falls (also known as Jung / Jang Falls or Bong Bong Falls), located about 6000 ft above sea level in Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh, approximately 40 km from Tawang City. Relatively undiscovered by visitors, these are one of India’s most stunning waterfalls. The Nuranang river comes from the Sela pass and it forms into this magnificent waterfall until it reaches the Tawang river. Take a detour and stop here on your way to Tawang and visit the hydel plant close to the falls base which generates electricity for the surrounding area. Visitors to Arunachal Pradesh require permits from the Government.
