Maheshwari kund

Maheshwari Kund is simply a couple of kilometres walk from Munsiyari. Maheshwari Kund is a beautiful place Once cursed by a Yakshi who use to measure during a small lake there, the place faced drought for several years. After the villagers apologized to the Yakshi and the ritual is practiced even today. Maheshwari sacred kund or pond offers a natural pond in lap of mountain of Dev bhumi Uttarakhand and an incredible view of Panchachuli Peak of Uttarakhand.
