Kunzum pass

Kunzum Pass is a magnificent mountain pass in the Himalayan Kunzum Range. The Kunzum Pass, located in the beautiful state of Himachal Pradesh at an altitude of 15,060 feet above sea level, is a magnificent sight to behold. One of the pass’s thrilling features is the fifteen hairpin turns along the road.While these turns give a beautiful view of the roads, they make the Pass a testing ground for the travelers’ driving skills. The Pass is also used by adventure drivers and bikers who look forward to experiencing the thrill. The Kunzum Pass is one of India’s highest motorized passes, and acts as a bridge between the Lahaul Valley and the Spiti Valley.

Kunzum Pass offers photographers a sanctuary! Beautiful glaciers, snow-clad peaks and the surrounding valley offer exquisite photographic views. When bikers and adventure enthusiasts go to experience the thrill of twists, it’s one of the most visited mountain passes. The pass also houses a temple dedicated to Goddess Kunzum Devi, the deity that guards and protects it from evil forces, as well as travelers. Visitors traveling to Kunzum Temple stop to receive blessings for the journey. One may take HRTC buses or hire Manali private taxis to get to Kunzum Pass. The journey from Manali to Pass Kunzum takes 6-7 hours to complete.
