Kangra valley

Popular Kangra Valley is home to the popular Masrur temple and is located in Punjab’s western Himalayas. It is the perfect place to visit in Dharamshala and it is a strong contender for the UNESCO World Heritage Site which is a great recognition of the location and beauty there. The people in this area speak Kangri which is the place’s regional dialect. Fort Kangra is an ancient fortress that dates back to the 4th century BC. Being one of India’s oldest forts and the largest fort in the Himalayas, this royal architectural marvel was once a residence of the Kangra Royal Family, Kangra fort past by visiting the site and listening to the stories forgotten by the locals.
