Gyuto monastery

Gyuto Monastery is one of the most prominent monasteries, specializing in Tantric meditation, Tantric ritual arts, and Buddhist philosophy studies. It was established in Tibet in 1474 by Jetsun Kunga Dhondup, the principal disciple of the first Dalai Lama. This famous monastery was founded in the memory of soldiers who have dedicated their lives to the Tibetan War of Liberty. His work on Buddhist philosophy, tantric rituals, and tantric meditation is very common for sightseeing in Dharamshala. The monastery complex is serene and majestic, and it looks impressive in its furniture, style and architecture. The monastery with the beautiful Dhauladhar is one of the finest tourists destination in Dharamshala.
