Fauna & flora

Several rare species mammals are found in this area, including the Snow Leopard, Asian black bear, musk deer, flying squirrel, tahr, brown bear, red fox and blue sheep.Animal density is however very low. In this National Park can be seen among the birds, the Himalayan Monal Pheasant and other high-altitude species. It is very abundant among flowers, orchids, poppies, primulas, marigolds, daisies and anemones. There are however more than 500 higher plant species in this area. Many of these plants have medicinal properties, as well.
