Durpin Dara is an observation tower point and one of two mountains (the other is Deolo Hill) connected by a ridge on which the town of Kalimpong stands. Durpin Dara is about 3 km away, and awe-inspiring view of Mt. Kanchenjunga and other snow-capped Himalayan peaks commands located southeast of the area. Panoramic view of the town of Kalimpong with hills of Darjeeling and Sikkim, lush green valleys, icy rivers like Teesta, Riang and Relli, distance view of Jelep-La offer a breathtaking experience. There is a golf course just under the top.
