The Dochula Pass is one of the beautiful mountain pass with snow covered Himalayas on the way from Thimphu to Punakha. There are 108 memorial chortens or stupas known as “Druk Wangyal Chortens” for each soldier who lost the life in defended the Country in 2003. It is a popular tourist attraction due to 360-degree panoramic views of the Himalayas and some other mighty peaks that any traveller would want to witness on their journey through Bhutan.
