Birla mandir

Birla Mandir

Birla Mandir was originally known as Laxmi Narayan Mandir and is situated at the base of Moti Dungri Temple, Jaipur. The temple is a popular place of pilgrimage among Hindu devotees. The frame is made of flawless white marble, which looks absolutely beautiful. Lush green gardens surround the temple on the sides, and offer a very dreamy touch to the structure. Birla Mandir contains a total of three domes, each reflecting a different religious viewpoint. The temple all over its body contains exquisite carvings and drawings. The structure’s walls are embellished with mythological quotations and sacred charms from Geeta’s Hindu holy book.

The most significant part of Birla Mandir is Lakshmi Narayan’s beautiful monolithic figurine. The temple also houses a Shri Ganesha idol which is equally impressive and appreciable. Pictures and sculptures of various other gods and goddesses that create a religious aura in the air inside the temple are also to be found. The temple also shelters images of legendary figures like Zarathustra, Jesus Christ, Gautam Buddha, Confucius, and Socrates. Birla Mandir is also home to a beautiful museum which stores and displays all of the revered Birla family’s ancestral properties. During the year, the temple attracts many tourists and the crowd gets even bigger during major festivals.
