Nakki lake

In Rajasthan, Nakki Lake in Mount Abu really describes romance. Named Mount Abu Love Lake, it is also India’s highest manmade lake at an altitude of 11,000 metres. It is also a sacred lake for the Rajasthan Garacia tribe, and it is the place of worship and remembrance of their ancestors at the time of their festival in Shukla paksha which falls in April month. At this festival , people are consecrating their nails in the water. It is the reason why this lake has been named ‘Nakki.’

The attraction is also known as Mount Abu ‘s love lake as the clean blue waters with verdant surroundings offer a romantic feel. It is also said that the proud Garacia Tribe ‘s sacred lake is. Nearby natural wonders visible from Nakki Lake contribute to its beauty. On a nearby hill is the famous Toad Rock which looks like a toad about to jump into the lake.
